We have tailored this feature to match your proficiency level, guiding you from "Learning" to "Acquiring" the language.
1. The Support Phase (Levels 1 - 3)
Status: Automatically ON.
Goal: To help you build confidence and understand the basics without frustration.
2. The Transition Phase (Level 4)
Status: Optional (You can toggle it ON/OFF in story settings).
💡 Expert Tip: We highly recommend you start turning this feature OFF gradually at this level. Try to guess the meaning from the context first. This prepares your brain for the next big step!
3. The Fluency Phase (Level 5 & Above)
Status: OFF (Not available).
Why? This is intentional! At this stage, our goal is to move you from learning the language to acquiring it.
The Logic: To reach true fluency, your brain must learn to link English words directly to meanings or images (just like a native speaker), without translating to your native language first. Removing this crutch helps you think in English and speak faster.
