Does uninstalling the app erase my data?
No. Simply removing or uninstalling the iStoria app from your phone does not delete your personal data, subscription, or learning progress. If you just delete the app, your information remains safe on our servers, and you can pick up exactly where you left off if you reinstall the app later.
How to permanently delete your account and data
If you want to completely and permanently erase your account, your learning progress, and all personal data from our servers, you must delete your account from within the app.
To delete your account:
Go to your Profile Page in the iStoria app.
Access Settings (look for the gear icon).
Select 'Personal Info.'
Choose the 'Delete Account' option.
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your deletion.
Important Notes Before Deletion:
Loss of Progress: Deleting your account will completely erase your learning journey. This includes your learned vocabulary, story history, earned badges, and learning streaks.
7-Day Reactivation Window: If you change your mind, you can reactivate your account within 7 days of your deletion request. Once this 7-day period passes, the deletion becomes permanent and cannot be undone.
Active Subscriptions: If you currently have an active paid subscription plan, you cannot delete your account until your current subscription period expires.
