🚀 Availability: Your Path to Fluency
We have tailored this feature to match your proficiency level, smoothly guiding you from "Learning" to "Acquiring" the language:
Levels 1 - 3 (The Support Phase): Automatically ON. Our goal here is to help you build confidence and understand the basics without frustration.
Level 4 (The Transition Phase): Optional. You can toggle it ON or OFF in your story settings.
Expert Tip: We highly recommend you start turning this feature OFF gradually at this level to prepare your brain for the next step!
Level 5 & Above (The Fluency Phase): OFF (Not available). This is intentional! To reach true fluency, your brain must learn to link English words directly to meanings or images without translating them into your native language first.
🧠 From Translation to Automatic Understanding
We know that letting go of translation at Level 5 can feel challenging at first, but this "mental effort" is exactly what burns the language into your memory! Trust the process. Here are a few strategies to help you adapt:
Guess from Context: Don't get stuck on every single word. Focus on understanding 70–80% of the overall story.
Use Your "I Learn" List: If you find a crucial new word, add it to your Vocabulary list and practice it so it sticks in your mind in English.
Re-evaluate Your Level: If you feel completely lost and find yourself needing to translate more than 50% of the words, contact our Support team. Your current level might be too high, and we can adjust it for you!
