Want to customize your learning experience? iStoria allows you to change your Assistant's voice type, accent, and gender so you can practice listening to English exactly the way you prefer.
Follow these 4 simple steps to adjust your settings:
1️⃣ Step 1: Go to your Profile
Open the app and tap on the Profile icon located at the bottom right corner of your navigation bar.
2️⃣ Step 2: Open your Settings
On your Profile page, tap the blue Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner.
3️⃣ Step 3: Tap on Assistant Voice
Under the Sounds & Music section, tap on Assistant Voice.
4️⃣ Step 4: Customize your preferences!
Now you can fully customize how your assistant sounds:
Voice Type: Choose Robot or Human-like.
Accent: Switch between an American or British accent.
Gender: Choose a Male or Female voice.
💡 Pro-Tip: Tap the blue Play test button at the bottom to hear a quick preview of your selected settings before saving!
⚠️ Important Note: These voice settings apply only to the Assistant used for pronouncing individual vocabulary words and sentences. The voice of the narrator reading the actual stories cannot be changed, as each story is uniquely and professionally recorded to give you the most authentic listening experience!
