If you want a completely new beginning for your learning journey, you can use the "Reset Progress" option. This feature allows you to wipe your current record and start over from scratch.
Important Warning ⚠️: Please be aware that this action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once confirmed, you will not be able to recover your previous data in any way.
What will be deleted upon resetting?
Since this option means a "total restart," the following will occur:
Level Change: Your current level will be canceled to prepare for a new level.
Learning History Deleted: You will lose all progress data in stories and books.
Word Lists Cleared: All words will be swiped from both "Know" and "Learn" lists.
Streak Reset: Your Streak counter (commitment days) will return to Day 1.
Achievements Removed: All badges and achievements you have earned will be deleted.
A Fresh Start 🏁
When you reset, you will begin your journey from your new level as if you were a brand-new user. No achievements, levels, or progress made previously will be carried over. Your achievements page and word lists will be empty and ready for your new successes!
Steps to Reset Your Progress
To start over, follow these steps:
Open the "My Profile" page in the app.
Tap the Settings icon.
Select "Reset Progress" from the menu.
Confirm your desire for a final wipe when the warning message appears.
What happens next?
Once the reset steps are completed, the app will take you directly to a new start screen, offering you two options to begin your journey:
Start Placement Test: To assess your current skills and place you in the level that best matches your results.
Start from Level 1: If you prefer to build your foundations from the very beginning, without taking the test.
You must choose one of these two paths to begin your new learning journey based on your preference.
Note regarding previous levels ⛔: Please note that if you choose to take the Placement Test, all levels before your new assigned level will be marked as "Passed." You will not be able to revisit them or access their stories and lessons again.
💡 Pro Tip: This action does not affect your paid subscription; your "Premium" plan will remain active as is, and you will not lose the remaining time of your subscription.
Do you only want to change your level? 🤔
If your goal is to move to a different learning level while keeping your words, streaks, and achievements without deleting them, there is no need to reset your progress entirely. You can simply use the "Change Level" option in the settings.
