How to Subscribe to the iStoria App

Welcome to the iStoria app! To enjoy all features and learn English effectively, you need to subscribe. This article explains all available subscription methods and provides steps for a smooth payment process.

Quick overview of available payment methods

  • External payment link (credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay)

  • App Store (Apple ID payments, gift/redeem codes, Carrier billing)

  • Google Play (Google payments, gift/redeem codes, Carrier billing)


Method 1: Subscribe via External Payment Link

  1. Open the subscription link

  2. Choose the subscription plan that suits you.

  3. Click on "Continue".

  4. Select your preferred payment method:

    • Credit card (Visa or Mastercard)

    • Or pay via Apple Pay or Google Pay

  5. Click Subscribe to activate your subscription.


Method 2: Subscribing through the App Store or Google Play Store.

App Store

There are three payment methods available on App Store.

1. Using a Credit Card

  • Open the Settings app.

  • Tap your name to access Apple ID.

  • Go to Payment & Shipping.

  • Add your Visa or Mastercard.

  • Complete the purchase in the iStoria app.

2. Using a Gift Card

  • Open the App Store.

  • Tap your profile picture or login button.

  • Select Redeem Gift Card or Code.

  • Tap Use Code.

  • Enter your card code.

  • Complete the subscription in the iStoria app.

3. Using Carrier Billing

Activate mobile billing:

  • Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad.

  • Tap your name → Payment & Shipping.

  • Select Add Payment Method → Mobile Phone (Carrier Billing).

  • Follow the steps to activate with your carrier.

Subscribe to iStoria:

  • Open the iStoria app.

  • Choose your subscription plan.

  • Select Mobile Billing as your payment method.

  • Complete the payment — charged to your phone bill (postpaid) or deducted from balance (prepaid).

Important Notes:

  • Make sure your carrier supports mobile billing with Apple.

Google Play

There are three payment methods available on Google Play.

1. Using a Credit Card

  • Open Google Play on your device.

  • Tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Payment methods.

  • Select Add a Credit.

  • Follow the instructions to complete the purchase in the iStoria app.

2. Using a Google Play Gift Card

  • Open Google Play.

  • Tap your profile picture or login button.

  • Select Redeem Gift Card or Code.

  • Tap Use Code.

  • Enter your card code.

  • Complete the subscription in the iStoria app.

3. Using Carrier Billing

  • Activate mobile billing:

  • Open Google Play.

  • Tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Payment methods.

  • Select Use mobile billing.

  • Follow the steps to activate the service with your carrier.

Subscribe to iStoria:

  • Open the iStoria app.

  • Choose your subscription plan.

  • Select Mobile Billing as your payment method.

  • Complete the payment — charged to your phone bill (postpaid) or deducted from balance (prepaid).

Troubleshooting (Fast Checks)

  • Verify card details (number, expiry, CVC) and sufficient balance.

  • Check that your card is enabled for online/international payments.

  • Verify transaction limits on your card or with your bank.

  • Try a different payment method (another card, Apple/Google Pay, or gift code).

  • Make sure you’re signed into the correct Apple ID / Google account.

  • Update the iStoria app and your device OS to the latest version.

  • Restart the app or device and retry.

  • If using carrier billing, confirm it is enabled in the store settings and with your carrier.

  • Ensure a stable internet connection.

  • Contact support if you encounter any other difficulties — we’re here to help.


Subscription management & refunds

  • Manage or cancel subscriptions from your Apple ID (iOS), Google Play (Android), or directly through Stripe (if you subscribed via our external payment link).

  • Refund requests and billing disputes are handled by Apple/Google (for store payments) or by our Support Team for Stripe payments — you can still contact our support for guidance, and we’ll help where we can.
